The fix to Might & Magic X Legacy for Mac on Steam and Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan

The game is problematic on Steam for Macs running Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan.

The game works, but you can't launch it directly from Steam, it won't work and will have a black screen with 

music. I found a workaround and fix-- Instead launch the game directly from the finder, go to the game in your 

folder and double click it and it will launch and work as expected. Others suggested to set the game in 32 bit 

mode to be more stable and I set it to 32 bit mode. With my workaround the game will work fine. You can make 

an alias/shortcut of the game on put it on your desktop or put the game icon on your dock for quick access.

UPDATE: updating to the latest steam resolved the problem-- the game now works as it should when launching it via Steam for Mac.
