Copy data dari Windows/OS yang bermasalah.

Untuk mengambil data dari komputer yang bermasalah dengan OSnya (Operating System), misalnya tidak bisa berhasil masuk ke Windows karena Windowsnya corrupt atau karena kena virus, ada dua cara penanganannya yaitu dengan mencopot harrdisknya untuk dipasang di komputer lain yang OSnya bagus untuk dicopy datanya, dan cara kedua tanpa mencopot Harddisk yaitu dengan menggunakan tools atau software semacam Live CD yang memiliki fasilitas File Explorer di dalamnya.

ILamp iMacs (G4s) are maybe the most notoriously difficult Macs to get a Linux desktop on, mostly because of the GeForce graphics they were ~~afflicted with~~ came with. Since I don't have one and haven't tried to put Linux on it myself, I haven't posted anything about it, but PPC Luddite reader Gary R. via email shared a very concise set of instructions on how to get Ubuntu running on his, so I thought I'd post it here.

Here I quote Gary very liberally:

This is how I got Ubuntu to work:

Download Ubuntu 16.04 minimal install iso for ppc.

Install system utilities and Ubuntu Mate

When finished, reboot

At yaboot type: Linux nomodeset single

When you reach root, type: visudo

Below: root ALL=(ALL:ALL) ALL type: username ALL=(ALL:ALL) ALL (as per your instructions)

Hit Control o, hit return, then exit

nano /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-framebuffer.conf

comment (#) nvidiafb, uncomment vesafb

write, save, exit

nano /etc/modules, add nvidiafb

write, save, exit

nano /etc/initramfs-tools/modules, add nvidiafb

write, save, exit

update-initramfs -u

nano /etc/X11/xorg.conf and add:
Section      "Screen"
     Identifier   "Default Screen"
     Monitor     "Default Monitor"
     Device      "Configured Video Device"
     DefaultDepth 16
EndSection
write, save, exit

nano /etc/yaboot.conf and add to the append lines to read "quiet splash video=offb:off nomodeset single"

write, save, exit

ybin -v

Type "passwd" and add a root password

Reboot

You should come to a screen that says "Enter root password for maintenance or Control D to continue"

Hit Control D and you should get the Ubuntu Mate desktop

And scene. Gary adds he has to boot into rescue mode as it seems necessary with the nvidiafb and it's the only way to have shutdown, suspend, and reboot working properly. He also likes MATE, and after playing with the latest release on my Debian Sid install, I like it, too. So there.

So you bought the latest and greatest MacBook Pro 15" with discrete GPU-- Radeon R9 M370X

GPU and your are getting low FPS in games in both Mac OS X and Windows!

The Cause -- You have MacsFanControl program installed, and it seem to conflict with our Radeon GPU and causes thermal throttling.

The Solution-- Uninstall MacsFanControl properly and entirely in both Mac OS X and Windows

For Mac OSX:
1. set the fan control back to automatic
2. do that for every user in Mac OS X that you set the fan settings for
3. close MacsFanControl program
4. delete it and its preference files

if you also installed MacsFancontrol for Windows:
5. set the fan control back to automatic
6. go to control panel> programs and features (Add or Remove Programs)
7. Remove MacsFanControl from there to completely uninstall it
8. Shut down Mac
9. Reset SMC
10. Reset PRAM

After this you will better performance in games and no more thermal throttling which causes a big drop in FPS.

This worked for me and now I am getting great frame rates and smooth game play.

Komputer semakin lama semakin lemot, selain faktor usia juga tidak menutup kemungkinan kita jarang untuk melakukan pembersihan atau pembenahan file pada hard drive (hardisk).

Salah satu upaya yang bisa kita lakukan yaitu dengan melakukan defragmentasi pada hard drive, gunanya untuk merapikan dan mengurutkan data dalam hardisk.

How to remove OSXRESERVED Partition safely if Bootcamp Assistant fails to remove it.

1. Launch up Disk Utility
2. Click on your Main internal drive (and not the partitions)
3. Click the Partition icon/button
4. When you see the pie chart, click on the OSXRESERVED partition in the pie chart
5. click the minus sign
6. click apply

Thats it!

This safely removed the OSXRESERVED Partition for me and reallocated the 8GB space back to the Macintosh HD partition.

And my Windows 10 boots fine afterwards too!

DON'T use the ERASE Button in Disk Utility! That will cause problems and it won't reallocate space back.
